What is cardiovascular fitness?

The ability of the cardio respiratory system (heart, lungs, and circulatory system) to deliver an adequate supply of oxygen to exercising muscles, enabling exercise over extended periods of time.

Benefits of cardiovascular fitness:

At BeFitLifestyle, we have a proven two step approach to cardio training:

  1. New Leaf VO2 assessment
  2. The creation of a custom cardio training program based on your ability and personal goals

Our cardio programs can be designed for all fitness levels. Based on your New Leaf VO2 assessment, we design personal cardio training programs to help you meet your weight loss and/or performance goals. Your personalized program will typically cover 8 weeks and for each day of the week we will include a suggested distance or time to run/walk/cycle, etc, and the optimal heart rate for your workout. In addition, we provide training tips and education to help you get the most out of your cardio program and become self-reliant.
