With so many fad diets emerging on the market, sometimes we wonder why we don't spell nutrition as: NEW-trition. A recent national survey showed:

  • up to 60% of all Americans today are overweight
  • 30% are obese
  • heart disease, diabetes and other weight related conditions continue to rise

So called experts will market anything thought to shed a few pounds. Unfortunately, overweight Americans are the ones that seem to gain the least from all the advice because each new finding contradicts the last. No one has the first clue what might actually work for them, which leads to yo-yo dieting, disappointment and most likely weight gain!
