YOGA Classes

BeFitLifestyle offers small group YOGA classes for individuals who would like to enhance their mind/body awareness, increase flexibility, restore energy levels and promote overall wellbeing.

Benefits of yoga include increased flexibility, improved muscle tone, loss of body fat, improved posture and balance, relaxation, increased energy and focus, and clarity of mind. Both classes are appropriate for all levels, offering modifications and variations enabling each student to create a personal practice on their mat.

BeFitLifestyle's class schedule accommodates all levels, promoting commitment, consistency and personal progress as participants build their skills over time.

NOTE: At least 3 people must be signed up in advance or class may not be held that day.

Instructor Descriptions:

Kristi Anderson's foray into movement and fitness started early in life as a dancer. Trained through the American College of Sports Medicine and Egoscue Posture Therapy Clinic, she holds three Pilates certifications and is qualified as a Mind-Body Fitness Specialist with Can-Fit Pro. Kristi has taught in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Mexico and the US, at corporations, spas, in rehabilitation and with nationally-ranked athletes. She is a contributor to IMPACT Fitness Magazine, a presenter for the Complementary Alternative Medicine Association (CAM), and a consultant to the American Fitness Association (AFAA). Kristi is the Program Director for The Integrative Wellness Research Foundation in San Diego, and the co-founder of PostureRx™.
